                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 6724 EAST
                   BRAINERD ROAD, BEING ON THE SOUTHWEST LINE OF
                   EAST BRAINERD ROAD AT ROSELAWN DRIVE FROM R-4
                   SPECIAL ZONE TO C-6 COMMERCIAL DISTRICT,
                   SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 6724 East Brainerd Road,
                being on the southwest line of East Brainerd Road
                at Roselawn Drive.  Lots 1-3 and part of lot 4,
                Mrs. Corbin Smith's Subdivision, not recorded,
                being the property described in deed book 2571,
                page 417, R.O.H.C.  Tax Map No. 158G-B-9.
               
         from R-4 Special Zone to C-6 Commercial District.
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning 

         shall be subject to the following conditions:
        
              1.   That the use of said tract of land be restricted
                   to offices, museums or veterinary hospital use
                   only.
        
              2.   All existing easements are retained.

              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, the 
public
         welfare requiring it.
